Learn the basics of the English language on one of various courses in Essex
We provide free English courses* for refugees, migrants and others to feel confident in using English as a foreign language.
*Colchester and beyond.
The ITL project has been running for more than six years.
Supporting the learning of everyday English, the project enables the progression at the appropriate level with the teaching of vocabulary and use for activities such as catching the bus, talking to the doctor, understanding a shopkeeper and so on.
We teach at all levels and whilst not accredited we are able to prepare students for assessment for formal ESOL classes at local colleges.
